People leaving with HIV have attributed the worsening state of HIV patients in Uganda to the blame game between institutions responsible for distribution of ARV and other drugs to patients.
According to the Executive director National forum of people living with HIV & AIDS Networks in Uganda Stella Kentutsi, consistent drug stock out especially in deep rural areas have greatly affect the fight against HIV in Uganda
He said that the issue of drug stock out has always been differently explained by National medical stores and individual government health centers that press requisition for these drugs leaving patients in dilemma.
She said that in some centers they even lack kits to test pregnant mothers which contradicts the program of reducing child born with HIV
