The Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees Eng.Hillary Onek has been summoned by the commission of inquiry into land matters to defend himself on allegations that he threatened the life of former Tooro Prime Minister Steven Irumba over land.
The commission chairperson Justice Catherine Bamugemereire has ordered Minister Onek to appear next week to throw more light on the said allegations.
This follows claims by Irumba that on July 7th 2018 he was attacked by the minister who threatened his life, insulted him and called him an enemy of the state.
The minister is yet to respond to the summons.
