Parliament’s committee on national economy has declined to approve a shs34bn supplementary loan request by government to finance the Inter-Connection of Electric Grids of the Nile Equatorial Lakes Countries Project.
Legislators instead demanded for the performance of the previous loan and justifications for any supplementary.
