Education experts have advised unemployed youth to exploit the skills they have for survival and stop crying out to government over their state.
Yesterday, a group of youth supposedly fresh graduates took to the streets with placards reading, ‘What’s Next?’
This comes barely a month after major universities in the country passed out over 10,000 of graduates to the job market.
Alexander Kyokwijuka, the executive director of Youth Aid Africa tells KFM that no government in the world can provide employment to all its population.
He says the magic bullet for those unemployed is to make themselves competitive, accept to start small, learn on the job and be entrepreneurial.
Uganda’s unemployment is estimated to be about 83%.
