East African Police Chiefs are set to converge in Kampala tomorrow for a meeting with their Italian counterpart who jets into the country today.
According to the police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi, Commander General Francisco Ratta will tour different police facilities including the Police Command & Staff College at Bwebajja along Entebbe Road.
He adds that all police chiefs under the East African Police Chief’s Cooperation (EAPCO) are expected in Kampala today to share policing capabilities and sign a memorandum of understanding with Italian police authorities.
He says the move is intended to harmonize police capabilities across the East African region.
