NWSC MD Dr Silver Mugisha Elected IWA Vice President
The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Managing Director Dr.Eng Silver Mugisha has been elected the first African Vice president of the board of the International Water Association.
Dr Mugisha was elected at the association congress in Brisbane Australia.
IWA members and staff are situated in 130 countries worldwide, forming the largest international network of water professionals working towards a water wise world.
Its programmes develop research and projects focused on solutions for water and wastewater management.
It also works to place water on the global political agenda and to influence best practice in regulation and policy making.
