The Police in Buikwe have arrested 27 students of Buikwe High School for allegedly murdering the school gate keeper.
A group of male students is said to have escaped and gone out to watch a premier league match, but on coming back, they realized that all food they have received on their visitation day had been eaten by unknown people.
The Savanah region police spokesperson Lameck Kigozi says preliminary investigations show that one of the students told them that the food was eaten by the gate keeper identified as George Kalyango whom they then lynched to death.
The twelve self-proclaimed unemployed youth arrested this morning are to be charged in court today.

They were picked up from Kabalagala and Wandegeya respectively.
Some of these were arrested as they tried to access the American embassy in Kampala.
Now speaking to kfm, the police spokesperson Fred Enanga said that the file is ready and these are to be charged with being a public nuisance in Makindye court this afternoon.
He explained that under this charge, they may face one year in prison if found guilty.
