44.2 Billion for Namugongo Shrine Renovation Ahead of Popes Visit

Over 44.2 billion Shillings is required to renovate the Namugngo Martyrs Shrine ahead of the Pope’s visit to Uganda.

The Archbishop of Kampala Dr.CyprianKizitoLwanga says the money is required to improve visibility of the shrine.

The Archbishop was yesterday receiving a donation of 135 million shillings from the Uganda Bankers Association.

Pope Francis is expected to visit Uganda in November this year.
