Police has placed a Shs50 bounty on the suspected killers of the Mutaaga couple.
On July 6th, the couple – David Mutaaga 69 years and 62 year-old Deborah Florence Mutaaga were murdered from their home in Lugonjo-Nakiwogo cell, Entebbe Municipality, Wakiso District.
According to a police report, the duo was found inside their residence with fatal stab wounds.
It is also reported that the couple had recently returned to the country for retirement after living in the diaspora for over 30 years.
Addressing the joint security weekly news conference at the police headquarters in Naguru, the police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke said the public has been provided with a video from the crime scene to help members of the public identify the suspect
“Security agencies and all other security stakeholders have been working round the clock to put together pieces of evidence to ensure that we arrest the culprit, today we felt it necessary to share with the public a recording of the suspect’s voice and we urge anybody who recognizes the voice to come out and help identify the individual, we know that through a community initiative we can easily zero on this suspect , “ says police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke .
