The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is optimistic that the senior four exam results will be released on February 24th.

UNEB chairman Fagil Mandy says they are currently entering marks into the computer system.

Mandy says unlike the Primary Leaving Exam results that were delayed due to technical hitches, the ‘O’ Level results are expected to be released on time.

The examinations body had halted marking of exams citing lack of funds to facilitate examiners, prompting government to release Sh.5.2bn.

The national examinations body has been on the spot over allegations of mismanagement and corruption which are still under investigation by the office of the Inspector General of Government.
