BY MUDANGHA KOLYANGHA

A Senior Four student who had climbed a mango tree in search for fruits has fallen off and died on the spot in Budaka district.

With many districts hit by famine resulting from the long dry long dry spell, children in many parts of the country have been left to search of what to eat on their own.

Bukedi region police spokesperson, Sowali Kamulya has confirmed the development and identified the deceased as 18 year old Erusa Nakintu, a student of Lyama Secondary School.

He says the body of the deceased has handed over to the relatives for burial.

Kamulyu warns that cases of this nature are like to increase as many children are seen struggling to look for fruits especially under this harsh environment.
