Abiriga family defends FDC’s Fungaroo on Arua Chaos

The family of the late Ibrahim Abiriga has appealed to state security organs to drop any intentions of summoning Obongi County MP Hassan Fungaroo.

Fungaroo, according to security organs is wanted over the chaos that received the former Arua Municipality MP’s body, leaving a property destroyed and one life lost.

Speaking to KFM the deceased’s brother-in-law Haj Abdul Hakim Moli and a one Retired Capt Stephen Aribaku described the hunt for Fungaroo as ill intended.

They say that the MP has always stood with the family in both merry and sorrowful times.

Meanwhile, the family of the late Ibrahim Abiriga has threatened to drag A-Plus Funeral management to court for alleged breach of contract.

Speaking to KFM, the deceased’s brother in-law Haj Abdul Hakim Moli says the chaos in which a number of chairs and tents were destroyed was as a result of the funeral service company’s alleged indiscipline.

Meanwhile, A-Plus Operations Manager Solomon Magara has dismissed the allegations by the family contending that instead, they incurred a huge losses at the late Abiriga’s home in Anyafio Cell, Arua.

Magara says that they are working out a final report to seek legal redress for the loss.
