13 people accused of participating in the murder of AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi are expected to re-appear in court today.

These were charged on April 21st 2017 and sent on remand to Luzira prison by Nakawa Court Grade One Magistrate Noah Sajjabi.

They face five counts including murder, terrorism and aggravated robbery.

Prosecution alleges that the 13 on the 17th/March 2017 at Kulambiro within Kampala district shot dead the former police spokesperson, his body guard  Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambewa as they drove in the official Uganda Police vehicle to work.

They were not given a chance to plead to the charges which are all capital in nature and can only be tried and are bailable by the High Court.
