The Minister of Gender, Labor, and Social Development, Betty Amongi, says Russia and Ukraine have worsened the global unemployment problem and have called for a speedy and peaceful resolution of the conflict.

She made the remarks during the 110th international labor conference in Geneva, Switzerland.

It’s being held amid economic challenges across the globe attributed to the Russia- Ukraine war.

Yesterday while presenting the state of the nation address President Museveni said he is ready to sit down with the stakeholders in the coffee sector for discussion on the way forward.
