Former presidential candidate, Dr Kizza Besigye has been arrested and detained at Kampala Central Police Station for protesting against skyrocketing commodity prices.

He was intercepted in downtown Kampala where he had started mobilizing traders to wake and join him in what he described as the struggle to liberate Uganda.
