Besigye whisked from Wandegeya

The FDC Party President Col. Kiiza Besigye has been whisked away from Wandegeya Police Station.

Besigye was arrested early this morning at Kubiri, near Mulago as he attempted to participate in the Walk to Work Campaign.

He was taken to Wandegeya Police Station earlier this morning from where he has been whisked.

He has been taken in a corolla Vehicle registration number UP1928, with 3 patrol vehicles leading, while one is accompanying him.

It remains unclear where he is headed to.

KFM will keep u updated on the developments of the story.

Earlier, at least 4 people were arrested in connection with the walk.

One is suspected to have been trying to throw stones at the police while the others are alleged to have been part of the walk protests.
