Bishop-Niringiye

Anti-corruption activist, Bishop Zac Niringiye says no amount of pressure will make him drop the fight against the corrupt.

Niringiye who reported back to Wandegeya police station today says this is a tough fight that needs strong people.

He however expressed disappointment that he was not charged in court today because this will now disrupt his programmes.

Wandegeya officer in-charge of investigations, Simon Asaba informed him that his file was still with the Resident State Attorney pushing his reporting date to the 18 of this month.

Niringiye is accused of inciting violence and publishing seditious materials during the black Monday campaign.

He was in company of his lawyer, David Mpanga, MPs Theodre Ssekikubo, Wilfred Niwagaba and civil society advocate Godber Tumushabe.
