It was all glamour at the annual Top 100 midsized company gala dinner, where companies were recognized for excellence in financial performance in the year 2014.

The annual survey mainly scrutinizes financial stability and good book keeping in small and medium companies to prepare them for growth into large companies.

The 2014 survey saw companies like Fenon Records, Davis and Shirtliff, Integrated Security Company walk away with accolades on Thursday at the event sponsored by the Monitor Publications, ICEA, KPMG and Stanbic Bank, among others.

The categories included the shareholders’ value champion, revenue gross champion, woman entrepreneur of the year taken by Sophie Nantongo, who employees over 100 employees and Rural Champion.

Coseke Uganda Limited emerged the overall winner of the competition.
