The Court registrar Thaddeus Opeseni issued the interim order following an application filed by the Union challenging the manner in which the movie federation exercises the inspection as well as seizure of their property and productions.

According to the union’s Secretary General Anita SSeruwagi , they have on several occasions raised complaints against  the federation before the Registrar of the Uganda registration service Bureau but all in vain.

The Registrar noted that there are pertinent issues that require thorough investigations by court hence the decision to stop the operations of the federation
