KCCA names Nsambya Estate RD after the late Archbishop Lwanga

Represented by Abel Balemesa, the group accuses the players in the industry of sending unsolicited short messages, deducting subscribers’ money after receiving the said SMs, charging dropped and unsuccessful calls among other issues.

The group has also sued the Uganda Communications’ Commission for remaining adamant about the actions of Telecom companies which has resulted into network malfunctioning.

The consumers now want Court to order the Commission to appoint an independent expert to monitor traffic, revenue and quality of service of the operators and to compute the monies that consumers have lost on account of the poor services  and order for a refund of the same.
