Borussia Dortmund thrashed Legia Warsaw in their opening Champions League match, winning 6-0 thanks to goals from Mario Gotze, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Marc Bartra, Raphael Guerreiro, Gonzalo Castro and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Juventus’ Champions League campaign started in disappointment after they were held to a goalless draw against Europa League winners Sevilla.

Gonzalo Higuain nearly won it for Juventus but his header in the second half hit the crossbar and Sevilla managed to hold on for a point.

In the other match in the same group, Lyon came out comfortable 3-0 winners against Dinamo Zagreb.

Tottenham’s group rivals, Bayer Leverkusen and CSKA Moscow played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with all goals coming in the first half.

In Leicester’s group, Porto’s match with Copenhagen ended 1-1. The Portuguese side took the lead early in first half through Otavio.

However, Copenhagen drew level when Andreas Cornelius scored in the 52nd minute.
