City Hall Court further extends warrant of arrest against city tycoon Hassan Basajjabalaba.

The warrant has been extended by grade one magistrate Moses Nabende after prosecution led by Orogot Pamela informed court that police is still searching for Basajja.

Basajjabalaba is jointly charged with two Tablique Muslim leaders for causing public nuisance at the Queens Way Tablique mosque.

This followed the trio to escape court sittings on various occasions and were issued warrant of arrest since November last year up to date their whereabouts are still un known.

Trial magistrate extended the case to the 13th next month.

Prosecution states that on 11th September 2015, Basajjabalaba with Hajji Abdul Musanje and Hajji Mbuga piled soil debris, rundown kiosks and also managed a washing bay in un designated place at Queens Way along Entebbe road which all created a nuisance to the public amidst the pope’s visit.
