A woman of Congolese origin in Erusi Sub County, Pacaka Rajom Village is on the run after nearly cutting off her husband’s testicles following a family disagreement.

The incident happened last week when the husband identified as Marko Anyolitho disagreed with her over the sale of produce in the garden.

“She wanted to sale everything we have in the garden living us without food at home which I refused, she also accused me of having other children with a different woman which was a lie” He said.

The woman allegedly waited for him to sleep in the night as manipulated and nearly cut off all the manhood living them hanging.

He was saved by neighbours after hearing him crying in pain and rushed him to Jupanziri health center III who also referred him to Nebbi hospital saying it was a serious case for them to handle.

Authorities at Nebbi hospital said the part had since been stitched and are optimistic that he would be discharged soon.

The officer in charge of child and family protection unit at Nebbi police Ms Baifa Wanican said “this is the first of such an incident we are registering here but there rising cases of domestic violence in the district is worrying”

Mr Gilbert Anyolitho, one of the elders in the village castigated the woman for the heinous act saying it would bring a bad spell in area.
