The delayed compensation of the project-affected persons has hindered the progress of Rwenkunye-Apac road project.

According to KFM’s Santo Ojok, the issue has raised concern among local residents.

“The project have faced very many challenges ranging from the nature of the soil of the place and you see all the place is watery, revoking of the money back to the treasury also caused the delay,”Mr. Ojok said.

“Bad roads making the transportation of the materials difficult, delay in process payment, those are the hiccups that has made us to move as scheduled,” he added.
