The Democratic alliance will not only capture power but also lead the nation after the 2016 general elections.

This has been revealed by the chairperson of the Democratic alliance summit Prof. Fredrick Ssempebwa at the launch of party offices and committees to drive the coalition Ssempebwa says the coalition has set up committees that begin work with immediate effect.

Some of the committees set up include a strategic committee that will guide joint candidates and a candidate selection committee.

The strategy committee is headed by JEEMA president, Asuman Basalirwa while the candidate selection committee will be headed by Okello Okello and Maxensia Takirambule.

Sempebwa appealed to all those affected by joint candidature project to sacrifice their interests forthe sake of country.

He was flanked by city lord mayor Erias Lukwago, DP president Norbert Mao, Dr. Joseph Bbosa from UPC, Prof Gilbert Bukenya, NRM’s Hope Mwesigye, Bishop Zac Niringiye and Reagan Okumu among others.
