DP Sets Up Nsubuga’s Funeral Committee

The Democratic Party has set up a committee to steer the funeral program of the fallen Secretary General Mathias Nsubuga.
The committee headed by Busiro East MP Medard Lubega Ssegona has sub committees of; finance led by Babirye Kabanda, that of Protocol headed by John Mary Ssebuwufu, Liturgy led by Fr. Timothy Ssemwogerere, and that for communication by Norbert Mao.
Other sub committees are Transport led by Hajji Mubarak Kawooya, Burial ground led by Mathias Mpuuga, Catering led by Dr. Kiwanuka Mayambala and the other is for security.
According to a tentative program released by the party, the body of the deceased will be brought to Parliament tomorrow morning for public viewing before MPs pay their last respects in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, a requiem mass will be held at Lubaga Cathedral before the body is transported to Masaka for a night vigil.
Burial is scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 pm.
