Ebola again

Test results of samples taken from a suspected Ebola case are expected tomorrow.

Yesterday a woman was intercepted at Entebbe International Airport after showing symptoms of the deadly Ebola virus.

The unidentified woman was travelling from Lagos Nigeria aboard a Kenya airways flight.

The permanent secretary in the ministry of health Dr. Asuman Lukwago says that although she has flu and a fever, her condition is stable.

“The woman remains under close monitoring”, Lukwago adds.

The Ebola virus has so far claimed more than 1000 lives while hundreds more affected since the outbreak was reported in West Africa in February this year.
