The Electoral Commission will today dispatch polling materials for the Bubuulo by-election.

Campaigns are expected to officially end today ahead of voting slated for Thursday.

The Electoral Commission chairman Eng. Badru Kigundu says the commission has finalized all preparations needed to have a free and fair by–election.

He says adequate security has been availed to ensure that the materials are not tampered with before and during the election exercise.

A total of 66, 828 voters are expected to choose among the five candidates who are vying for the Bubuulo West parliamentary seat.

The Bubuulo West parliamentary seat fell vacant after Tonny Kipoi was thrown out for absconding from duty.
