“I come to you my brother, I come to you my sister, please forgive me. I regret and apologize to so many people I hurt with my mistake,”  she said.

She added on her Instagram page, “Today I come to you with one word. I’m very sorry I made this terrible mistake. May God bless you all and grant you the grace to forgive me. Stay blessed always.”

In 2018, Judith Babirye and fellow legislator Paul Musoke Ssebulime held a traditional wedding ceremony at a hotel in Entebbe.

The two however divorced 17 months after their wedding.
