Health Experts has asked government to equip hospital with standard health equipment’s which can be used to save lives of babies who are born premature.
According to the New born specialist and head of pediatric wing at Kampala international hospital Dr. Yasar Abdallah says, if the health facilities around that country are equipped with modern equipment’s to protect these babies it will help to save the lives of babies born prematurely.
He says, at the Kampala international hospital out of the 1500 deliveries made very year, 20% of the babies are born prematurely.
He says delivering premature babies is un- voidable condition, and therefore what is required is to ensure that health facilities are equipped modern equipment’s and also with specialists in pediatrics.
