Experts say 60% of adults are suffering from Dental illnesses

Health experts say 60% of the Ugandan adults are suffering from Dental related illnesses.

The Deputy Principal College of health Sciences Makerere University Dr. Isaac Okullo says oral diseases in Uganda are on the increase and they are affecting people because of negligence to care for their teeth as required.

He says 33% of the children also are suffering from the same; he attributed this to the increasing use of food which is full of sugar.

He made the remarks while officiating at a one week dental care camp organized by the National social security Fund at Mulago Dental School were over 1500 people are going to access free dental treatment.
