The minister of education and first lady Janet Kataha Museveni has eulogised the late director of St Lawrence schools Prof Lawrence Mukiibi describing him as a patriot who has changed the education sector in the country.

Giving her speech at the Requiem mass at Rubaga cathedral church,Ms Museveni says that the late showed an example throughout his life through creating wealth, providing jobs and served the country at large.

She  notes that when she was still in karamoja, the late used to offer 10 annual scholarship to the needy in the district but also lifted the weak through giving them free education.

She however noted that usually, when people die,the properties they have built also die arguing the family members to work hard and ensure that the institution he has left behind prospers and continue serving the nation.
