Former Kyambogo University vice Chancellor Isaiah Omolo Ndiege has filed a petition in court seeking an interim order stopping his dismissal.

Ndiege contends that he was not accorded a fair hearing and his dismissal was in bad faith. In the main suit filed, the former Vice chancellor is seeking an order quashing the decision of the University council dismissing him.

He is also seeking an order directing the university to comply with findings and recommendation of the Adhoc committee which cleared him of any wrong doing.

The case is before high court judge Benjamin Kabito. Ndiege was recently fired the by university council, bringing to an end a standoff with the academic staff who had protested against his leadership.
