Germany business delegation visits Kampala

A delegation of members of the German-African Business Association is visiting Kampala today to seek trade opportunities in the region.

Afrika-Verein is the German business association for German companies and institutions with business interests in African countries.

During their trade and investment mission to Uganda the delegation will hold talks with officials, from the Uganda Investment Authority and the Banking Sector.

According to Susanne Pflanz, the Press and Cultural Affairs manager at the German embassy, Site visits to Bujagali hydropower plant and Kagira Sugar are scheduled.

Germany is Uganda’s biggest trading partner in the European Union with an annual Trade volume of around US$ 200 million.
