Government has threatened to close down children’s homes operating illegally.

The minister of state for children’s affairs Florence Nakiwala Kiyngi says the ministry is mandated to register all the children’s homes and therefore those operating without licenses effective 30th this Month they will closed down.

She says, government is taking such a measure because some of those operating children’s are doing it for business purposes.

She says therefore children who will be found in wrong hands will be taken to the legal homes.
