By Benjamin Jumbe.

Government is to set up an industrial park for small scale industries in Bunyoro to create jobs.

This has been revealed by President Yoweri Museveni while meeting leaders of Bunyoro sub-region under his current wealth creation drive launched last week in Tooro.

The president said the country’s limited resources cannot allow government to do everything at once, hence the need for prioritization, handling the most pressing issues first, which has been done with electricity, roads, security, schools, hospitals among others.

He also said he is to put up a model farm in Bunyoro sub-region to show people that small scale commercial agriculture is possible

He further asked the leaders to conduct surveys in their communities to determine the number of people still living below the poverty line and ways in which government can support them.
