Bunyole East MP, Emmanuel Dombo says the death of presidential advisor, Hajji Badru Wegulo has robbed the country of a leader and teacher.
He has described the late Wegulo as a mentor for most senior politicians in Butaleja district and the country at large.
Dombo says as a presidential advisor on political affairs, the late Wegulo was also a key mobilizer for the ruling NRM party.
Dombo says Hajji Badru Wegulo who succumbed to diabetes at Kibuli hospital at the age of 81 on Friday night is to be buried later today at his ancestral home at Naweyo in Butaleja district.
Wegulo who defected to the NRM two years ago was the former National Chairman UPC and Chairman Party Representative Council and member of the Presidential Policy Commission and treasurer at UPC.
