Health ministry rolls out mosquito net distribution in Central Uganda

The Ministry of Health has commenced registration of households to receive Long Lasting Insecticide treated mosquito Nets in 22 districts in Central Uganda.

These include Mubende, Bukomansimbi, Butambala, Gomba, Kalangala, Kalungu, Kayunga, Kiboga,

The others are Kyankwanzi, Luwero, Lwengo, Lyantonde, Masaka, Mityana, Mpigi, Nakaseke, Buikwe and Buvuma among others.

According to the Ministry of health spokesperson Vivian Serwanjja, Village Health Teams and LC1 chairpersons are tasked with the role of registering all members of households under supervision of district health teams.

She adds that work started yesterday and will end on Sunday May 28th, 2017.
