Hector Bellerin signs new deal worth over £100,000 a week
Hector Bellerin has given Arsenal a perfect boost by signing a new contract which will tie him to the club until 2023.
Bellerin has emerged as one of the best right full-backs in European football and was wanted by Barcelona and Manchester City.
Bellerin’s new deal is worth over £100,000 a week and has now been confirmed ahead of this week’s Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spain international is out with an ankle injury at the moment. He will not play against the French champions.
Bellerin said in a video posted on Arsenal’s Twitter account: ‘Hello everyone, sorry to keep you guys waiting, I had a very big meeting next door. I just wanted to say that I just signed my new deal with the club, so I’m really, really, really happy.
