The police chief Gen. Kale Kayihura has made changes in the force’s Public Relations department promoting the spokesperson Judith Nabakooba.

Nabakooba becomes the deputy political commissar.

She has been replaced by Fred Enanga who is now deputized by Polly Namaye from Mbarara.

The former deputy spokesman, Patrick Onyango is now the spokesman Kampala metropolitan area while Ibin Ssenkumbi is transferred to Mbarara as regional spokesperson.

The Land Protection Unit that was formerly headed by Fred Enanga is now led by Julius Twinomujuni.

According to Gen Kayihura, the changes take immediate effect.
