Jennifer Musisi – “property owners in road reserves should re-locate”

David Kugonza | November 17, 2016

By Damali mukhaye.

The executive director of Kampala capital city authority Jennifer Musisi has asked the property owners in Kampala who have built in road reserves to relocate their walls to create space for the ongoing road constructions.

According to Musisi, some people have complied to re-locate will several others haven’t hence the authority does not want to demolish their walls and buildings forcefully.

She notes that since here is no money to compensate every one, people should instead co-operate with the authority to enable development of the city to take place.

She notes that failure to co-operate; their areas will not be worked upon.
