The students were found betting in the morning during school hours.

Police acted on a tip off from residents who were concerned by the students’ behavior.

In an operation commanded by Mukono Police OC Station Isaac Kambugu more than 20 students including senior four and senior six candidates were arrested.

The students arrested were dressed in school uniforms. They are being held at Mukono police station.
