Highcourt judge Masalu Musene has granted bail to former Kampala CPS DPC Aaron Baguma who is charged with the murder of  a bisinesswoman Donah Betty Katushabe.

Justice Musene ordered Baguma to pay 5million shlibgs cash and his 3 surities were  each bound to pay a sum of 50 million shillings not cash to ensure that the accused returns to court for trial on the 7th/October.

Baguma was also ordered to  report to the deputy registrar of the HighCourt -criminal division once every month starting from the 30th of this month.

Justice  Musene considered the unique circumstnaces of this case and the fact that Baguma is a serving senior police officer who is charged with the responsibility of keeping law and order in society and the fact that inquiries into the case are complete and he is already committed before the HighCourt for trial.
