Kanyamunyu to spend Christmas in jail

Police investigations into the murder case against businessman Joseph Kanyamunyu, his girlfriend Cynthia Munwangari and his brother Mathew Kanyamunyu are still on-going until 2017.

State prosecutor Racheal Nabwire has today notified Nakawa court grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi of this development.

Magistarte Sajjabi has now further remanded the trio to Luzira prison until January 3rd 2017.

Prosecution states that on the night of 12th/November 2016 along Jinja Highway in Kampala, the trio shot NGO worker Kenneth Akena who later died from Norvik hospital in Kampala.
