The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga is away for a week-long visit to Washington DC to attend the biannual Buganda Bumu North American Convention due from May 24 to May 27.

The Katikkiro is leading a powerful delegation of Kingdom officials and royals arrived last night.

The Buganda Bumu North American Convention (BBNAC’ 19) in Washington DC to celebrate our culture diversity and heritage; to engage our YOUTH, discuss social and economic issues regarding the well-being of Banganda in the diaspora and back home whilst experiencing America’s capital Washington DC.
