Lawyers representing the jailed boda boda 2010 patron Abdallah Kitatta are going to appeal against the 8 years jail term handed handed to them by General Court Martial.

This revealed by Defence lawyers led by Shaban Sanywa immediately after court.

According to the lawyers they have instructions from their clients to appeal for both conviction and sentence and they are filing a notice of appeal today before General Court Martial appeal .

The General Court Martial at Makindye has sentenced Hajji Abudallah Kitatta and his body guard Detective Constable Sowali Ngobi  to serve 8 years, 8 months  and 6 days at Luzira prison on charges of being in illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
