Kivejinja Sworn In As EALA Ex-Official

The East African Legislative Assembly has today sworn in Ali Haji Kirunda Kivejinja as an Ex-Officio Member.

The Oath of Allegiance to the House was administered by the Clerk of EALA, before the EALA Speaker Daniel Kidega.

Kivenjinja took the oath in accordance with Rule 5 of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.

The 3rd Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for EAC was ushered into the House by Bernard Mulengani, Dora Byamukama and AbuBakr Ogle.

Kivenjinja replaces the late Eriya Kategaya.
