Kyambogo University is set to graduate over 9,000 students in a three-day ceremony that kicks off today at the University’s main campus in Banda, Nakawa Division.

The university Vice Chancellor, Prof Eli Katunguka says out of the over 9,500 students set to graduate, 5,000 are male and over 4,000 are female.

250 of these will graduate with first class honours from different programs.

However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, only a few invited guests, master’s students and those with first class degrees will attend the ceremony physically with the majority to follow the event virtually on social media and on television.

According to Prof Katunguka, president Museveni and the Minister of Education, Janet Museveni will Grace the ceremony but virtually from State House.
