If the elections were held today, National Super Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga would get 49% of Kenyans’ votes, while Jubilee’s candidate and incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta would garner 48% of the votes, this is according to a new Infotrak poll released on Tuesday.

The poll further shows that Tunza Coalition presidential candidate Abduda Dida would have 0.3%, while Third Way Alliance’s Ekuru Aukot would get 0.1%

Another 2% of the sampled population was undecided.

Meanwhile following the gruesome murder of IT manager of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Ugandan election observers have asked Kenyan leaders to embrace peace as the country counts down to Election Day.

Speaking to KFM, Crispy Kaheru the coordinator Citizens Coalition for Electoral Democracy condemned such acts that could culminate into chaos during and after the August 8th election.
