Leicester will have to write “another fairytale” to win the Champions League, according to manager Claudio Ranieri.

Last season’s surprise Premier League winners make their debut in the competition on Wednesday when they travel to Belgium to face Club Brugge.

“It’s impossible to win the Champions League,” said Italian Ranieri. “There are so many big teams. To win it we have to write another fairytale.”

The Foxes are 50-1 to win Europe’s most prestigious cup competition.

Leicester captain Wes Morgan thinks his team can win the Champions League and has warned their rivals not to write them off.
